One Down…

I have been getting in a lot of trouble lately for not having enough "time". Things have been kind of hectic for me with work and the move but I think I’m starting to settle back into a regular routine.  Work is great, the move is done, I’m all unpacked (finally!) and my cable, phone and internet are all hooked up – yay!
That said, I resumed Tuesday night tradition last night by going to Desirees house to watch HOUSE and eat popcorn.  Btw – it was the best HOUSE ever!  Seriously Joan, you will not believe it…
Anyway, HOUSE used to be on at 8pm so I got to Dee’s at about 10 to 8.  Then we found out that the show has been moved to 9pm so we had an hour to kill. First we chatted about our love lives, then I ate chocolate cake, then we played with Buttons (Desirees cat whom she’s obsessed with), then we did commentary on "Dancing with the Stars", then we got told off by Chris, so then Dee massaged Chris’ face while I pretended I was elsewhere….
And then in the midst of all that fun, we decided to make chin puppets.  I dont know how or why, but it seemed to be the logical progression of things.  Sure, Desirees was prettier, but mine stole the show with a dazzling rendition of "twinkle twinkle little star".
Enjoy the pics.  Joan, you’re next 🙂

I use food to show love, I make things because it helps me connect to my inner self, and I use social media because it's how I connect to other like-minded people. My life happens between the kitchen, the craft room and the gardens. This blog is where I keep track, work it out, and share my ideas. Feel free to share your thoughts back with me!

  1. oh man, i could NOT stop laughing at those pics!  "How you doin’?" was the funniest- sorry chris.
and as for house– i didn’t think it was the best one ever.  i enjoyed it, and thought there was alot of character development.  but not the "best one".  i’m annoyed by tritter and want him to go away.  i’m looking forward to that subplot wrapping up.  and i’m looking forward to finding out why cameron is so pissy this season.  it’s a gooooood show.

  2. Chin puppets – very funny.  House?  Who’s house?  Which house?  Does this "house" require me to have cable?  The only houses I know of are the ones people live in the the book by Ted Dekker and Frank Perreti – which, by the way, was an awesome thriller.  The movie is in post-production and should be showing by late spring I hope.  Check out the book review @ .  Okay, bye!
