I’m Over Stimulated.

Tonight mom and I went to the new craft store that just opened, "Michaels".  I know, I know, every town has one – but we didnt!  And now we doooOOOoooo….! Isnt that awesome??
But I digress. What I’m trying to really say is that I’m in love.  The kind of love that makes you want to do everything everywhere all at once… and I feel it for a big-box craft store.
They have isles of scrap booking stuff, cake decorating sections complete with miniature pans and icing kits, row upon row of wooden ‘do it yourself’ shelves, frames, stools and hooks, rug hooking kits of every kind, books on how to draw anything you ever dreamed of, candle making supplies, and even indoor gardening supplies.  Then there’s the yarn… soft, dreamy, thick balls of wool, every color you can imagine…
Yes, its love.  I wandered the isles with a look of complete wonder on my face.  Every now and then I would see something cool and shriek for my mom to come look… once in a while, she would do the same.  At one point, Sarah freaked out over a build it yourself molecule kit and then nearly fainted when she found one for DNA.
I’m going to have to ask for a raise, and someone will have to lock up my next pay cheque.

I use food to show love, I make things because it helps me connect to my inner self, and I use social media because it's how I connect to other like-minded people. My life happens between the kitchen, the craft room and the gardens. This blog is where I keep track, work it out, and share my ideas. Feel free to share your thoughts back with me!
