Me & My Bunny.

I never wanted a pet bunny, but when I ended up with Noahs rabbit I just knew that she needed me to love her. I didn’t want to let her down, I wanted to add to her little life, not just host it, so I went to the internet and started hunting.

I learned a lot about bunnies and their little habbits, like how bunnies have binkies when they’re really happy. They’re sudden bursts of joy that cause the bunny to leap into the air while splaying all 4 limbs out as far as they can.  Bunnies also like throwing toys and hopping after them, and they are very affectionate and love to chew on wood and plastic.

So, every day I go home and see my bunny, and I take her out of her cage and let her have her play time. I also pick her up and rub my forehead on her forehead because that’s how bunnies say hello to each other and I want her to know that I’m greeting her personally. Sometimes, I rub my chin on her head too, and that tells her that she belongs to me and that I’m the alpha bunny. I buy her special untreated fruitwood twigs so she can chew and she has a stuffed mousie that she plays with. For treats, she likes lettuce, carrot, apples and dried banana slices, which I pick up for her at bulk barn.

Sometimes, I sing the following song to her (in the tune of BINGO):

“There was a girl who had a bunny

And bunny was her name O

B – U – N – N – Y

B – U – N – N – Y

B – U – N – N – Y

And bunny was her name O.”

She likes it J

I use food to show love, I make things because it helps me connect to my inner self, and I use social media because it's how I connect to other like-minded people. My life happens between the kitchen, the craft room and the gardens. This blog is where I keep track, work it out, and share my ideas. Feel free to share your thoughts back with me!
